	The cabin is located in the mountains overlooking Bryson City, North Carolina in the Baines Mountain development. The cabin is actually built using conventional framing and installing log siding. Homeowners can also ask for log corners to be used with the log siding which gives an authentic cabin look. If you want a log cabin without the cost of a log cabin, then this is the method a homeowner would use.

The fireplace was layed using the tennessee field stone and stacked. The interior veneer is 1 x 6 T&G Pine and the floor is prefinished oak hardwood. A wood and drywall combination would also have a nice look for owners that don't want all the interior wood.
